| Nathan Pinney leads technology and software development for LineVision™ non-contact power transmission line monitoring at Genscape Inc. As a member of the Research and Development team since 2013, Nathan designs hardware and software solutions to provide real-time power grid awareness centered on Genscape's novel EMF-based approach. He holds a PhD and MS in Computational Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BS in Physics from the University of Kentucky.

| Jake Gentle is a power systems research engineer for the Infrastructure Security department at Idaho National Laboratory. He
supports several projects, developing technology and providing technical
oversight. He holds a master’s degree in measurement and controls engineering
and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Idaho State University. Over
the past six years, Jake has led multiple power systems and transmission line
projects at the DOE’s Idaho National Laboratory. His research on dynamic line
rating and concurrent cooling of transmission and distribution lines enabled
him to consult with a variety of manufacturers, consultants, and power
utilities concerning statistical and dynamic thermal ratings of overhead lines.
Much of Jake's work has included the standing up of a wind program at INL,
which includes the Pilot Test Area for Dynamic Line Rating research. He
currently holds multiple professional society positions as a member of the IEEE
Overhead Lines Subcommittee and IEEE Task Force on Risk and Prediction of Line
Ratings, as well as serving on the International Council on Large Electric
Systems. He is also an appointed affiliate graduate faculty member at Boise
State University and Idaho State University and the Eastern Idaho IEEE
Professional Activities and Continuing Education chair.

| Jacob Lehmer is the primary software developer and software engineer for the dynamic line rating projects spearheaded by Jake Gentle. Jacob has three years of professional software development experience and is currently continuing his education in the fields of nuclear engineering and computer science at Idaho State University. An eclectic background in computer control, simulation, graphics, and algorithms really aid the dynamic line rating projects at INL.

| Cody Davis is Advanced Product Engineer for General Cable. He is responsible for leading research and development for overhead conductors as well as supporting all of General Cable's utility products. He invented and led the development of the award-winning E3X™ universal heat-dissipating overhead conductor. He is currently the Chair of the Conductors and Accessories working group of the IEEE Overhead Lines Subcommittee and is a member of the IEEE Insulated Conductors Committee. He also represents General Cable as a member of the Aluminum Association and the NSF Center for Novel High Voltage/Temperature Materials and Structures. He holds a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

| Dr. Alexander W. Abboud is a postdoctoral chemical engineer at INL with expertise in multiphase flow modeling, specifically with experience in reactive particle modeling with applications of aqueous precipitation and coal combustion. His area of expertise also includes analysis, verification, validation and uncertainty quantification of CFD simulations. His current research at INL includes modeling of glass waste melters for vitrification of legacy waste, modeling of fluidized bed reactors for carbonation of sodium bearing waste, and modeling of wind flows and historical data comparisons for use in dynamic line ratings of power transmission lines.

| Dr. Wei Zhang is a human factors postdoctoral research associate at Idaho National Laboratory. She has been performing control room design along with improving procedure use performance for field workers and control room operators of nuclear power plants. She is also involved with integrating Dynamic Line Rating into utility control rooms, designing control room displays and other interactive platforms for operators. Additionally, she carries out work on cyber security risk assessment for nuclear power plant. Wei earned her doctorate at Michigan Technological University in applied cognitive science and human factors. She received a master's in linguistics and bachelor's in English from Beijing Forestry University in Beijing, China.

| Timothy McJunkin is an electrical engineer at the Idaho National Laboratory (since 1999) with research and development interest resilient control of critical infrastructure and Smart Grid for renewable energy integration with a focus on application of forecasts to Dynamic Line Rating. Prior to joining INL, he was with Compaq Computer Corporation’s Industry Standard Server Group (1994‐1999). He holds a Master of Science in electrical and computer engineering from Utah State University and is pursuing his Ph.D. in the University of Idaho’s Electrical Engineering Department.

| Jack McCall is Vice President with Lindsey Manufacturing having global responsibility for business development and sales for their SMARTLINE dynamic line rating and transmission capacity forecasting system. He has authored or co-authored numerous papers on dynamic line rating and other advanced transmission technologies and is co-inventor on two U.S. patents. Jack has more than 30 years’ experience in the utility T&D business holding a variety of positions, mainly focused on aspects related to advanced transmission and automation. He has a Master’s degree in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University.

| Phil Anderson is a Principal Engineer for Transmission and Distribution Strategies in Idaho Power's Transmission and Distribution Strategic Projects Department. In Phil's 24 years with Idaho Power he has worked in a number of engineering capacities including Hydro automation engineer, EMS/SCADA engineer and Research, Development and Deployment engineer. Prior to Idaho Power, Phil worked for two other utilities in power generation engineering and has 31 years of engineering experience. Phil holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Idaho and Oregon.

| Prashanth Duvoor is Vice President with Ampacimon. He leads Ampacimon’s North American business. Prashanth has 10+ years of experience in Power and Energy sector in a variety of roles & functions. He has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University, and a MBA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

| Richard Kodera has a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida with an emphasis in Transmission and Distribution Line Engineering. His expertise encompasses Transmission and Distribution (overhead and underground) Line projects in an engineering, route development, or project management capacity — new construction, rebuild, re-conductor, DOT, conductor evaluations, conductor/cable ratings, customer relocations, underground feasibility assessments, and routing/siting analyses, and projects ranging from 4kV to 500kV.

| Todd Ryan, Director of Regulatory Affairs, is working to ensure that Smart Wires’ technologies can be adopted in electricity networks around the United States. Todd's career has centered around developing new energy technologies and speeding up their rate of adoption. Todd previously worked for Beacon Power, a flywheel based energy storage provider, and was involved in developing new market rules for energy storage. This includes tariff and business practice manual changes in New York ISO, MISO, and ISO-NE and worked to get incentives for fast and accurate frequency regulation providers (FERC Order 755). Todd has a Ph.D. in Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University and researches the economics and operations of electricity networks under high penetration of renewable generation. Specifically Todd is interested in removing unintended barriers to adopting novel energy technologies. Todd has also developed fuel cell and fuel reforming technologies after receiving his B.S. in chemical engineering from Tufts University in 2005.

| Buck Fife has performed a variety of engineering design roles related to overhead transmission systems. His experience includes the detailed design and layout of overhead transmission lines, line routing, cost estimating, project coordination and supervision, field engineering, conductor selection and drawing preparation. He also has experience in rating analysis, insulation coordination, grounding system design, damage analysis and the design of remedial steps on existing transmission lines. Buck studied electro-mechanical drafting and design at Idaho State University and has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Portland State University. He co-authored The Structural Engineering of Transmission Lines with Peter Catchpole in 2014. Buck is an active member of the IEEE and CIGRE and is an Envision Certified Sustainability Professional.

| David Angell is the Manager of Transmission and Distribution Planning for Idaho Power with 33 years of experience in the electric power industry David is former Adjunct Professor with Boise State University and the University of Idaho and participates on the University of Idaho Electrical and Computer Engineering Industrial Advisory Board. He holds bachelors and masters degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Idaho, is a registered Professional Engineer, and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
